The clutter I couldn’t tame
I keep tiny parts everywhere—screws, bolts, SD cards, and USB drives—and I’m blind. Sorting them by touch worked until every box felt the same. I don’t use CAD, and I didn’t have hours to learn a 3D tool just to make a better organizer.
How I solved it with a printable toolbox
With Shapiful, I picked a toolbox shape and adjusted the size with simple sliders. I split the interior into compartments and added tactile labels I could feel. For the sections my sighted partner checks, I included QR codes that link to a short note about what goes inside. I chose embossed text for lids, debossed icons on dividers, and small holes for a zip-tie pin so the box stays shut in my backpack. The live 3D STL preview made it easy to nudge spacing, corners, and alignment without technical steps.
